Inclement Weather/Center Closing

We know parents just cannot drop what they are doing at work. However, while your child is at our center in emergency situations (ex. Power outage, start of blizzard etc.). We Encourage you to pick up your child as soon as possible before the weather worsens during the day.

Our facility follows the Federal Government schedule for holidays and inclement weather. If the Federal Government is Closing early or CLOSED, Clouds of Joy will be Closing early or CLOSED!!! However, under the discretion/attentiveness of the Director we do at times follow the Prince George's County School System schedule due to emergency circumstance and/or extremely inclement weather days and will close or have a delay. Due to Extreme weather condition the Center will be CLOSED. If PG Schools opens 2 hours late, the center will open at 8:30am, or the center will have a 1–2-hour delay opening due to the weather condition.
